Pre Sales Consultant

Reports to: VP Sales

Location: West London

We are currently looking for a Pre-sales Consultant to join us. The position is an integral part of IVIS’s sales team.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Take the lead in direct client-facing activities including discovery meetings, presentations, workshops, solution demonstrations and business case development

  • Identify prospective clients' business solution requirements

  • In collaboration with Sales Executives, present product functionality and benefits to prospective clients

  • Demonstrate how proposed solution adds substantial value by replacing the prospect’s current business systems environment

  • Articulate and demonstrate to prospects the value proposition of IVIS across multiple business processes

  • Adapt presentation and demonstration to address prospect’s specific business needs

  • Provide expert source of information and strategic insight on industry trends and best practices

  • Provide solution expertise in support of all sales cycle activities (trade shows, focus groups, discovery, qualification, RFI and RFP responses, solution demonstrations, conference room pilots and on-going Q&A)

  • Provide information and strategic insight to clients and prospects on designated solutions within the Sonetto Product Suite, including current and future integration points

  • Maintain solution demonstration environments and configuring demonstration data and scenarios as required in a sales cycle

  • Establish relationship with the primary decision maker to facilitate future business development

  • Communicate new customer requirements to Product Development and Product Management

  • Serve as the liaison between the client and implementation team to facilitate successful project implementations

  • Work in partnership with the Sonetto Integration Team to present additional solutions to current clients to solve their business needs

Key Skills:


  • Extensive pre-sales experience supporting software sales into Retail

  • Extensive hands on experience in Retail

  • Extensive knowledge of Retail business processes

  • Superior communication, presentation and demonstration skills

  • Strong creative and analytical skills

  • Proven ability to work in multi-functional teams, network effectively

  • Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to rapidly establish credibility in any client or prospective client engagement

  • Fluency in English mandatory, fluency in other languages desirable
  • Willing to travel as required
