IVIS Group has worked with a high street retailer to ensure their business-to-business systems are secure and offer the correct services to their suppliers. Our customer, like many organisations, has different types of relationships depending on the level of business undertaken and the sophistication of the supplier organisation. For major suppliers they were happy to share current stock and other, potentially sensitive, data. With other suppliers they wanted to limit the scope of information available. Further, their smaller suppliers did not have the expertise to handle complex functionality. Therefore, they needed to restrict the services available to match these requirements.

IVIS Group developed a security scheme and interface that controlled access to the system based on the user profile and only offered those functions defined by the business.
