Our customer, a leading UK retailer had developed a strong position in the on-line world. They recognised that they would be able to stretch their brand to add a range of products outside their core offer. However, to do this successfully they needed an e-business infrastructure that enabled them to add product ranges with the minimum of fuss.

IVIS Group developed an architecture that enabled them to load product data, build an on-line store, take orders and handle logistics issues effectively and efficiently. This componentisation process of the e-business infrastructure enabled them to add multiple stores in very short timescales - some as little as 8 weeks. The ability to rapidly add new product lines has enabled our customer to retain a leading position as a major on-line retailer.
