Semantic Search
The semantics of a document can be interpreted by many different readers, but it is the author’s intended meaning which is the base semantics. It is this principal which is at the heart of the Sonetto Semantic Search, which draws on Information Retrieval methods to search large volumes of unstructured, semi-structured data and structured data with variable and changing schemas.
Sonetto can perform different types of search, all of which produce highly relevant results, based on direct business led queries. This includes contextual search as well as a navigational or refinement based search across all data. A key benefit of Sonetto’s search is near-constant query response time, regardless of the size of the underlying dataset, thanks to using inverted indexes.
