Sonetto® Brandbank™ Connector

Through their media library, Brandbank™ creates, manages and distributes product details, high-resolution and internet-ready product images to multi-channel retailers. The Sonetto® Brandbank™ Connector offers retailers an easy method to capture, manage and distribute all their necessary images and data, allowing a consumer to make an informed choice when purchasing products.

When implementing the two immediate challenges facing retailers are:

  • Providing decision rules to give precedence to specific Brandbank and other source data (be this data internal or externally sourced).
  • Using the Brandbank™ service to quickly and with little effort interface the information provided into their mainstream central ERP systems that will utilise the Brandbank™ provided information.

There is always a need to use the valuable Brandbank™ data immediately without having to rely on a long development project to provide the data in the correct format, in the correct system and cleansed to a high quality.  The Sonetto® Brandbank™ Connector, part of the Sonetto® suite of applications, provides users the capability of managing and manipulating Brandbank™ data and utilising it where it is needed.

The Sonetto® Brandbank™ Connector can be used as a stand-alone Sonetto® application, or with other Sonetto® modules (including Product Information Management and Pricing and Promotions Management). The application consists of configurable rules which can be used to manipulate and merge data enrichment coming from Brandbank and other sources and then pass this data on to the target systems which will be using this data.

 

Sonetto® Adobe™ Connector

To support with the preparation and publication of offline media, such as flyers and brochures, business need to integrate their product information, multi-media, marketing copy and promotional information. Historically this has been a manual process, taking time and incurring cost

With the Sonetto® Adobe™ Connector, you are now able to manage the product and price publishing parts of your offline printing process from within Sonetto®, and seamlessly send the information directly to the Adobe™ templates where it is needed.

Pagination details and catalog structure can be maintained within Sonetto® and are sent as part of the XML based transfer between Sonetto® and Adobe™. These are translated by Adobe™ and the content added to the correct parts of the already prepared page templates.

Making the process easier, the Sonetto® Adobe™ Connector provides a roundtrip capability which means that information that is maintained directly in the Adobe templates, such as changes to product descriptions, are automatically updated in the Sonetto® Suite so that no changes are lost.

 

Sonetto® connector for Endeca®

Search is a critical element of any website or ecommerce application today. Yet the richer experience that most customers have come to expect, in the form of categorisation, guided navigation and refined search require a detailed and structured information base.

To streamline this process and support the extended functionality offered by the Endeca platform, the Sonetto connector for Endeca transforms the information contained within Sonetto and delivers it directly to the Endeca MDEX Engine™. This ensures that the categorisation to support guided navigation is richer, that the relationships between products for cross-sell and up-sell are pre-populated and that a richer set of content for search is available online faster.

The result is an improved user experience for the customer, and a reduction in time and cost for you as a business in utilising the power of the Endeca engine.

 

Sonetto® GDS Connector

Standards are critical in any business, and to support clear communication between business they are even more important. Global Data Synchronisation or GDS is a standard designed to drive down cost, increase collaboration and optimise the supply chain between manufacturers and retailers.

The GDS standards align key product attributes, such as product names, specifications and codes, and ensure that the information stored is consistent across all particpating companies. Manufacturers and suppliers submit their product details in a set format to data pools across the globe, which validate this and register the details in a global registry. All updates and changes are syndicated to the other data pools around the world and can be seen by retailers and trading partners immediately.

The Sonetto® GDS Connector allows you to seamlessly connect to your chosen GDS datapool and synchronise your product and price information with your trading partners.
